IS YOUR LANDSCAPE DESIGN FUNCTIONAL?

by: Blue Marble Landscape
October 12, 2022

It can be hard to tell if your landscape design is functional until the plants have matured or there’s storm damage.

Typically, newly installed material is planted close together in formation near to walls and homes to avoid looking sparse but is not functional down the road.

Trees planted too close together struggle for irrigation and sunlight. Root intrusion is costly when trees are planted near structures. Hardscape materials may look great in theory yet may actually cause erosion based on the lay of the land.

Our landscape design specialists can help you with both functional and aesthetic landscape design. Contact us to schedule a landscape walk and consultation. We’re happy to help!
